Body of drowned 10-year-old boy found

The body of 10-year-old Delwin Nanubeb, who drowned earlier this week, has washed ashore some 12 km north of Henties Bay. The late Nanubeb was identified by the mother on Saturday and the body has been transported to the police mortuary for a postmortem.
Nanubeb was the oldest among five boys between the ages of 6 and 10 who went swimming unsupervised at Henties Bay on Wednesday.
The police report states that the group of boys were taken further into the sea by strong waves or a suspected rip current.
A 15 year old witnessed the incident and immediately swam to save the boys.
Only four were rescued, the fifth boy, Nanubeb, drowned and his body had been missing until Saturday.
