Former NBC veteran television journalist and news anchor Gert Rossouw dies

Former NBC veteran television journalist and news anchor Gert Rossouw has died.
Rossouw is survived by his parents, a son and a daughter.
He joined the then SWABC in 1985 as a video operator.
He became a subeditor and eventually a senior sub in the news department.
In 1992, he was promoted to senior producer at TV News and Executive Producer at TV News Output in 1998.
A regular presenter, Rossouw was promoted to Programme Organiser, Afrikaans Services and in 2013 became a Radio Performance Coach until 2017 when he retired.
