Two men arrested for allegedly removing tombstones from Kuisebmond Cemetery

Two men working at a tombstone factory have been arrested by police at Walvis Bay for allegedly removing pieces of tombstones from graves.
The Namibian Police allege that the men went to the Kuisebmond Cemetery in the middle of the night on Friday and forcefully removed the pieces from three graves.
A police statement indicates that the men were found carrying the stones by officers conducting crime prevention operations.
The men have been charged with malicious property damage and alternatively violating something sacred.
The duo is expected to appear in court soon as police continue their investigation.
