NDF men and women volleyball teams are the early pace-setters in the national leagues.

The two teams produced good results during the weekend's league actions.

The matches played at the DTS Sports ground saw some spectacular volleyball  and one match that caught the eye was in the men's section between SKW and Rehoboth.

The two teams provided high class volleyball which had the fans on their toes.

In the end it was the SKW combination which won three sets to one.

SKW are now in second place on the log with 11 points after the completition of the first round - trailing log-leaders NDF by three points.

In other men's games - NDF triumphed over Unam by three sets to one, while Khomas Nampol saw-off DTS by three sets to one.

In the ladies section - NDF was in a class of its own against Revivals as they downed their opponents by three sets to one.

The army team also beat the Polytechnic student team by an identical score-line.

The students forfeited points in the early scheduled match against DTS as they were allegedly late - which led to DTS girls given the points - although the two teams decided to play for fun instead.
