Netball players from the country's 13 regions are fighting for places in the various national age groups in the capital.

The trials under the auspices of the Namibia Schools Sports Union (NSSU) are targeting the Under-12 to Under-19 age groups.

The netball players are fighting hard to win the hearts of the national selectors for possible inclusion in the various teams.

The trials in the form of a tournament brought five teams from each of the 13 regions with games taking place at the Windhoek High School and Windhoek Gymnasium netball courts.

Good netball was the order of the first day and the same can be expected on the final day tomorrow.

The selected teams will represent the country next month.

The trials end tomorrow with the announcement of the various teams.
