Namibia will host the 18th Annual Aviation and Allied Business Leadership Conference in September this year.
Over 280 delegates from the aviation industry and allied sectors from Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Asia will attend the meeting.
It will be held in Windhoek under the theme: Air Transport Development, Rethinking Africa's Strategy.
The meeting aims to find innovative ways of resolving difficulties facing aviation development on the continent and will focus on major aspects of air transport, including safety and security, financing, policy and capacity-building.
African ministers and air transport industry policy-makers from the public and private sector will look at new opportunities for the industry, while renewing existing bonds.
