Luderitz transmitter station off air
WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA, August 31st, 2012 – The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) would like to advise the public that the Lüderitz transmitter station is off air due to a damaged downlink antenna. As a result, the residents of Luderitz will not be able to receive the nbc TV signal. They will also be unable to listen to the following nbc radio services: Afrikaans, National, German, Oshiwambo, Otjiherero, Nama/Damara. Private radio stations Radio Wave, Radio Kudu, Channel 7 and Omulunga are also affected.
The nbc regrets the temporary inconvenience caused and counts on the understanding of the affected viewers and listeners. nbc is trying its utmost best to restore all affected Services with minimum downtime.
