The four men who were recently imprisoned for rhino poaching in the Kunene Region, appeared in the Opuwo Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on different charges of poaching. They are 30-year-old Samuel Gideon, 34-year-old Ndume Johannes Nakakuwa, 28-year-old Uaparakana Kapuree and Maverukiruakuune Tjiyazembua, who is 22.

A group of 100 Epupa Constituency inhabitants in the Kunene region have received hampers, as part of the President's Winter Charity Drive. The hampers were handed over at Opuwo on Wednesday following a pledge by President Hage Geingob in 2016 to give part of his salary to charity.
