The University of Namibia (UNAM)'s Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs says Africa has less than 1% of the world's top-ranked universities, describing it as worrisome and needs to be changed.
Professor Frednard Gideon was speaking at UNAM's faculty of Economic and Management Sciences annual two-day research conference at Keetmanshoop on Thursday.
