Air Namibia debt hampers Airports Company's execution of mandate

Air Namibia has accrued a debt of N$522 million to the Namibia Airports Company which affects the ability of the company to execute its mandate.
The debt, which emanates from passenger safety and airport levies, airport fees and other unspecified charges, stood at N$86 million in 2016 but has ballooned to over N$500 million.
