Air Namibia staff to hold lunchtime demonstration tomorrow

Air Namibia today announced that some of its employees plan to hold a peaceful demonstration on Thursday, between 13h00 and 14h00, at the company’s head office in Windhoek.
The employees, represented by the Namibia Allied and Transport Union (NATAU), will hand over a petition and a list of grievances to the board of directors.
The national airline says it is a peaceful demonstration and petition handing over event. It is not a strike and will not result in any disruption of its operations.
Offices as well as the operations control centre, airports and flights will operate on schedule.
