APP calls for ECN to set aside four more days to allow Namibians to register

The All People's Party (APP) is calling on the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) to set aside about four more days to allow more Namibians to register for the upcoming Regional and Local Authority Elections.
APP Secretary General Vincent Kanyetu says many people, especially the youth, did not manage to register during the supplementary voter registration, saying the process was cumbersome leaving many unregistered.
Kanyetu further complained about what he termed as "foreigners" registering for national elections saying this must not be tolerated.
He says many Angolans, Zambians and some Congolese as some of those registering in local elections especially in the two Kavango and the Zambezi regions.
The party further denounced the activities of a certain Seibeb whom Kanyetu said, is making fun of APP's Ignatius Shixwameni on social media and warned him to desist from these actions or else will face severe consequences.
