Aviation employees protest against alleged poor corporate governance

The Air Namibia aviation employees, pilot schools, aircraft operators, Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) employees and political party youth leagues held a demonstration today, to hand over a petition to the senior management of the NCAA.
The group is protesting against alleged poor corporate governance, the legitimacy of the interim executive director among many other issues.
Christoph Seimelo, NCAA senior legal officer and acting corporate secretary and the Ministry of Works and Transport public relations officer (Pro) accepted the petition.
The protest follows the suspension of NCAA legal assistant Natalia Isak who wrote a letter to the board, bringing to light some alleged irregularities in the aviation authority.
