China and Namibian bilateral relations are expected to expand with more targeted assistance to alleviate poverty.
That was revealed at the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and National Political Conference currently underway in Beijing.
The Asian giant is committed to redouble efforts in strengthening multilateral relations with African states.
That was referred to as China's Political Season, where the two fora, the China People's Political Consultative and National Political Conferences, are held to brainstorm governance policies.
China entered into a number of co-operation agreements with different countries, making the two meetings events of great interest to the world.
Held annually, the 2018 event is the first after a new party leadership election at the last Elective Communist Party Congress late last year.
A media briefing heard that China had committed itself to involve Africans in many aspects of development, also to a better improvement of their living conditions.
The briefing said China had developed bilateral bonds with various developing countries, international and continental organizations, based on mutual partnerships.
