Another case of Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Namibia was reported on Monday.
Epidemiologist, Dr Lillian Kahuika, confirmed to the case to NBC News.
Kahuika said the case was reported in Keetmanshoop but the patient has been transferred to Windhoek.
The patient is said to be in critical condition.
The majority of CCHF cases occurred with people working with livestock.
Another case of a man from Gobabis was reported in February this year while a farmworker from the Gobabis area died in February last year, at the Gobabis District Hospital, of CCHF.
