COTA students march, demand that classes resume

About 150 students from the College of the Arts (COTA) held a protest march on Tuesday.
The students marched from Katutura Community Art Centre (KCAC) to the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, demanding that their classes resume.
The classes have been stopped due to budget cuts affecting the college.
They demand that their classes resume not later than 19 June.
The petition was handed over by the COTA SRC president, Steve Angula, to the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, Sanet Steenkamp.
Steenkamp noted that the matter will be dealt with at management level and that they will respond to the college as soon as possible.
