CRAN defends decision to award CoW a Class Telecommunications Service Licence

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) has again defended its decision to award the City of Windhoek a Class Comprehensive Telecommunications Service licence, saying the municipality's application was accompanied by a detailed business plan.
Meanwhile CRAN's Head of Communication, Katrina Sikeni said in a statement that regulatory authority will consider all comments received before making a final decision by 28 July.
Sikeni further says the final decision will be communicated to all stakeholders.
Stakeholders have until Friday, 17 July to submit their input.
