Curfew extended for 21 days

Namibia has extended the current COVID-19 containment measures for another 21 days, with minor adjustments.
“With regards to the restriction of movement, curfew hours will be adjusted to begin at 22h00 and end at 05h00, daily,” said President Hage Geingob.
He added that Namibia approached friendly nations to acquire reliable and affordable vaccines.
Travellers entering Namibia will be required to provide negative test results obtained before arrival.
President Geingob also said that he is willing to be the first Namibian to be vaccinated in an attempt to counter growing vaccine scepticism.
