Delegation arrives from Germany with Namibian human remains

Human remains, dating back to Germany's colonial occupation of Namibia, arrived at the Hosea Kutako International Airport from Germany a short while ago.
The remains, accompanied by a Namibian delegation arrived on board flight SW 286 from Frankfurt Airport.
The delegation, comprising government, traditional and church leaders, is led by Education and Culture Minister Katrina Hanse-Himarwa.
Namibia's Ambassador to Germany Andreas Guibeb and Minister Counsellor Simeon Uulenga also accompanied the remains.
Germany's Minister of State Michelle Muntefering, special envoy Ruprecht Polenz and Robert Dolger, Germany's Regional Director for sub-Saharan Africa and the Sahel were also travelling on the same flight.
They will be taking part in the official state ceremony in Parliament Gardens in honour of the returning human remains Friday morning.
The flight arrived at Hosea Kutako International Airport at around 06h30 and the ceremony starts at 10h00 at Parliament Gardens.
