Namibia's Commissioner for Refugees, Likius Valombola told NBC News that, although the deadline has passed, Namibians who are still at the Dukwi Refugee Camp in Botswana will not be deported immediately.
He said another 29 refugees have registered to voluntarily return home this Friday.
Valombola said the Namibian government is still waiting on the Botswana government to give an indication on the way forward.
A day after the 11 July deadline 45 Namibians were repatriated while there are still over 800 refugees at the camp.
Valombola said those who have returned have been successfully integrated with their families.
