Etunda Trust hands over clinic to Ministry of Health at Otavi

The Etunda Trust has officially handed over the Etunda Clinic to the Ministry of Health and Social Services at Otavi.
Founding father Dr Sam Nujoma has handed over the keys of the clinic to Dr Bernard Haufiku.
Ohorongo Cement has donated medical equipment worth millions to the clinic that will serve the school and farming community in the area.
It will also cater for residents of Otavi during peak hours. Other donations and pledges made at the event are estimated to be between N$7 and N$8 million.
Swapo party donated N$5 million.
Other donations made were materials, tinned fish for learners when the school opens, corrugated zinc sheets and doors. The cost of the clinic and school is estimated to be around N$18 million.
