Farmers advised to diversify to crop production

The past five years of drought in Namibia should act as a learning curve to many subsistence communal farmers.
Hence, with the current government assistance, farmers should make use of the present promising weather to diversify to crop production, rather than rely on livestock alone.
These were the remarks by the Senior Traditional Councillor of the Ovaherero Traditional Authority, Tuendeekuje Rukambe.
