Government extends Drought State of Emergency to 6 March

The Government has extended the Drought State of Emergency to 6 March.
Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila says, the extension is due the severe drought, which has seen Government coming to the aid of about 172 000 households countrywide.
However, the distribution of free fodder to far northern regions has been discontinued due to good rainfalls recorded in those areas.
