Grade 11 and 12 learners resume face-to-face classes

Grade 11 and 12 learners returned to school this morning. throughout the country.
In Windhoek, schools visited by the NBC News team had divided learners into smaller groups with the largest number of 16 learners per class at Rocky Crest High School.
Rocky Crest High Principal Justine Klein says the 120 learners are divided into eight classrooms.
At Havana Secondary School, there are 10 learners per class, and only 21 of the 27 Grade 11 and 12 learners showed up for class this morning.
Principals of most schools visited say that Government has provided them with more than enough masks and hand sanitizers.
The Education Ministry's spokesperson, Absalom Absalom says although minor challenges, such as learners not practising social distancing at some schools were observed, the ministry remains positive and optimistic.
