Hanse-Himarwa pleads not guilty on corruption charges

Minister of Education Katrina Hanse-Himarwa's corruption case has officially started in the High Court Monday before judge Christie Liebenberg.
Hanse-Himarwa is facing charges of corruption in connection with the allocation of mass housing units while she was the Governor of Hardap region in 2014. It is alleged that she allocated two houses to her own relatives at the expense of two other beneficiaries. Hanse-Himarwa pleaded not guilty.
