Human remains found near Rossing Mountain

Human remains have been found near the Rossing Mountain, about 30 kilometres east of Swakopmund.
An Omega Security employee allegedly made the discovery and reported the discovery to the Arandis Police on Sunday.
Police officers were immediately sent to the site, where they found human bones scattered all over the place.
The team suspect that the remains might have come with the strong river currents during the last rains.
A police report states that the bones might have come from an old cemetery located at the upper side of the Swakop River.
That is not the first discovery of human bones in the area, as there were other cases in which bones were washed away by water currents from cemeteries.
The remains were taken to the Walvis Bay police morgue for further investigation.
