President Hage Geingob has accorded the late former commander of the People's Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) Matias Ndakolo, a State funeral.
Late retired Colonel Mbulunganga, as he was popularly known, died this week.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology said the late Mbulunganga will be buried at Eenhana Shrine National Heritage Site in the Ohangwena Region next Saturday.
Information regarding the memorial service will be provided in due course.
Late Colonel Mbulunganga went into exile in 1960.
While there he joined the armed wing of Angola's MPLA, fighting for that country's liberation against the Portuguese.
He later joined PLAN and became Head of the North-Eastern Front.
