The Landless People's Movement's plans to register as a political party received a boost after their application was gazetted on 12 December.
This was confirmed by Electoral Commision of Namibia spokesperson Vikitoria Hango.
Hango explained as of 12 December, political parties, individuals or other interested groups have 30 days to offer objections related to the registration of the latest political party.
In the absence of objections, or after considering all objections have been considered and the commision is satisfied, the commision will then issue the LPM with a certificate.
