Memorial service held in honour of Nambundunga

A memorial service in honour of the late Major General (retired) Peter Nambundunga was held at Eenhana in Ohangwena Region, where he worked as Special Advisor to Ohangwena Governor Usko Nghaamwa.
Speakers described him as a dedicated fighter for independence and freedom of Namibia.
They said Namibia has lost an irreplaceable stalwart.
Some described him as a straightforward man who hated gossip while other mourners described him as a problem solver, fast thinker and a good listener who respected his soldiers as a commander.
Retired Major General Charles Namoloh says they survived the liberation struggle by the grace of God.
They worked together when Nambundunga was Chief of Logistics while Namoloh was Chief of Staff for many years.
