A woman was attacked and stabbed Thursday evening by three men on the Western Bypass.
According to the Public Against Crime Namibia group (PAC Nam) who rescued the woman, the suspects threw stones at her car and smashed the windows.
Sean Naude from PAC Nam said the woman stopped immediately and the three men emerged and stabbed her on the arm.
Fortunately, the woman immediately flashed her car’s lights at a passing vehicle which happened to be PAC Nam members.
Naude said the PAC Nam members, who were in the company of Khomasdal Neighbourhood Watch, fired warning shots and the attackers ran away.
The incident happened under the bridge near Rocky Crest where a NamPower employee died from a similar incident in January.
