MUN disappointed over pending retrenchments at various mines

The Mineworkers Union of Namibia (MUN) has expressed disappointed over the pending retrenchment of close to 1 500 of its members by the end of this month at various mines.
MUN general secretary Ebben Zarondo says Langer Heinrich Mine, Namibia Tantalite Investments and Nec Stahl have so far submitted notices to retrench a combined 1 100 workers this month.
