Namibia is expected to receive close to 90-million Euros of the 12-billion Euros pledged to the Global Fund recently.
The amount is equivalent to 1-billion-350-million Namibia dollars.
Different donor communities pledged the amount during the Global Fund's Fifth Replenishment Conference held in Montreal, Canada last weekend.
The funds will be used to end the AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria epidemics.
The AIDS and Rights Alliance for Southern Africa - ARASA - said it was encouraged by the increase in financial commitment from several African governments.
Executive Director Michaela Clayton said she hopes the funds, particularly from African governments, will be used to strengthen the health systems for those affected.
ARASA is a partnership of 106 civil society organisations working together to promote a human rights based response to HIV, malaria and TB in Southern and East Africa.
