Namibian delegation arrives in Germany

A Namibian delegation, comprising government, traditional and church leaders arrived in Germany to receive  human remains of Namibians from Germany.
The delegation, led by Education Minister Katrina Hanse-Himarwa, arrived on Air Namibia flight SW285 in Frankfurt early Monday morning en route to Berlin.
Minister Hanse-Himarwa will meet with Michelle Müntefering, State Minister for Cultural Affairs and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister of Germany before addressing a joint media briefing Monday afternoon.
Close to 70 people are part of the delegation to receive the human remains.
Six more Namibians will join the group from the USA while another one will arrive from South Africa.
The commemoration service and ceremonial handover of the repatriation of human remains  will take place at the Franzosiche Friedrichstadtkirche on Wednesday in Berlin.
