Namibians protest sanctions imposed on Cuba by the U.S Government

Namibians took to the streets on Wednesday to protest over sanctions imposed on Cuba by the US Government, in an efforts to topple the government of socialist ally Venezuela.
Protestors say they denounce what they called the manoeuvres, aimed at destabilising the left and progressive governments, particularly in Venezuela and Cuba, according to a statement read outside the the US embassy in Windhoek.
President Donald Trump threatened a full and complete embargo and more sanctions if Cuban troops continued to prop up the Venezuelan government of socialist president Nicolas Maduro.
Unlike similar previous demonstration where the US embassy refused to receive the petition, this time around they delegated a special investigator, Willem Corner to receive the petition through a reception window.
