National Council parliamentarians adopt the 27th Commonwealth Parliamentary Seminar report

National Council parliamentarians have adopted a report on the 27th Commonwealth Parliamentary Seminar.
Tabling the Report in the House on Tuesday. SWAPO MP, Petrus Kavhura said, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association - CPA - introduced new online courses, including Master's Degree classes on procedural key policy and corporate areas.
The lectures series concentrate on Commonwealth political values and the establishment of exchange platforms for the CPA.
Kavhura said emphasis was placed on the important role MPs could play in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals by integrating them in national development plans.
He, therefore, recommended that the Namibia CPA Branch continuously participated in the CPA activities to build the capacity of legislators.
Kavhura called on the Namibian Parliament to fund law-makers, who want to participate in online programmes of the CPA fundamental and Master's Degree programmes.
