NBC allocates free airtime to parties, independent candidates contesting in elections

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) started broadcasting messages of political parties and independent candidates, contesting three local authorities and the Mariental Rural Constituency elections, as from today on both radio and TV.
On radio services, these messages will be aired after the bulletins at 13h00 and 19h00 respectively and on television, the messages will be broadcast at 18h50 as from today.
This platform is given to political parties and independent candidates on an equal basis to explain their manifesto and why people should vote for them.
