NBC journalists temporarily detained in Germany

NBC senior reporter Blanche Goreses and camera operator, Thomas Amukwaya were today detained at Frankfurt Airport from 16h00 to 20h00.
The duo were accused of trespassing.
They were released 30 minutes before their connecting Air Namibia flight to Windhoek.
The two, who covered President Hage Geingob's participation at the United Nations World Investment Forum (UNCTAD) in Geneva, Switzerland this past week, were only released after they signed documents stating they had trespassed.
Namibian ambassador to Germany, Andreas Guibeb intervened on behalf of the two journalists.
Attempts to get comment from the German embassy in Windhoek proved futile.
Note: we reported that the two journalists had Schengen visas. This is not correct.
