Ndeitunga orders police to restrict access to Okahandja graveyard

The Inspector General of the Namibian police Lieutenant General Sebastian Ndeitunga confirmed having ordered the police in Okahandja to restrict access to the graveyard.
Speaking to Nampa on Sunday, Ndeitunga said if action by the public or any group seem to provoke danger or seem to challenge security, the police have no option but to prevent that from happening.
He said it was not the first time that the Ovaherero Traditional Authority leader, Vekuii Rukoro, accused him of being biased in handling conflict between the two Herero factions.
Ndeitunga assured that the police would always maintain peace in the country as this is their responsibility.
