No arrests made in Cheryl Avihe Ujaha’s murder case – NAMPOL

Khomas Regional Police Commander Silvanus Nghishidimbwa has dismissed as untrue reports that a taxi driver was arrested in connection with the death of nine-year-old Cheryl Avihe Ujaha.
An audio clip, circulating via social media, suggests the taxi driver who used to drop Cheryl off at school, was arrested in connection with her murder.
Commissioner Nghishidimbwa confirmed that the taxi driver was simply questioned as part of the murder investigation, but stressed that he was not arrested.
The regional Commader also added that investigators are done with him and at this stage he is not a wanted person.
Police are offering a reward of N$30 000 for information that may help lead to a successful arrest and prosecution, of those responsible for little Cheryls murder.
The young girl's dismembered body was found dumped in Khomasdal on Tuesday.
