Ondangwa learners demonstrate against bail for trafficking, rape accused

Learners of Okatana Combined School, accompanied by their teachers and parents, took to the street Tuesday morning demanding that no bail should be given to two suspects implicated in rape, human trafficking and kidnapping of a 14-year-old girl, at Ondangwa, in the Oshana Region.
The duo made their second court appearance at Oshakati Magistrate's Court in charge of trafficking in persons, kidnapping and two counts rape.
The suspects are 18-year-old Sylvia Bonifatius and 32-year-old Jacobus Steven Van Zyl, both Namibians.
