The Roads Authority is resealing the Oshakati-Oshikuku-Outapi road at a cost of 80-million dollars.
The tender was awarded to Hillary, a South African Company in a joint venture with Quiver Tree of Namibia.
The rehabilitation started two months ago in terms of site establishment and is expected to be completed in 2017.
The overall project is a three-year contract, covering Oshana, Ohangwena, Oshikoto, Omusati, Kavango East and West as well as Zambezi regions.
The Roads Authority's Chief Executive Officer, Conrad Lutombi says, they have three approaches of managing the country's road network, namely constructing new roads, periodic maintenance of existing roads and re-sealing.
