The Pan African Women's Organisation (PAWO) congress is set to start tomorrow in the capital.
The congress will be held under the theme, 'Accelerate African Women's Action Towards Achieving Sustainable Economic Development Within the Context of the United Nations' Agenda 2030 and the AU Agenda 2063'.
Participants from 55 countries are expected to attend the congress with each country to send four delegates led by a Minister of women and gender and PAWO focal point.
The Office of the President of PAWO, the secretary-general, five regional secretariats from North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa and veterans of PAWO are among those expected to attend.
