The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) has started preparing to hold its electoral college on 28 September.
PDM secretary-general, Manuel Ngaringombe, says the party is working to have the youth and women from all regions of the country elected onto its list.
He says the party expect three-of five nominees to the college to be women and one to be youthful.
PDM women, youth league and elders council each nominate five-delegates to the electoral college, while PDM branches abroad each nominate three-delegates.
Ngaringombe said the party will only launch its manifesto two-months ahead of the national elections to ensure Namibians will still remember it on voting day.
He also said PDM has been campaigning and going door-to-door since last year and will soon intensify campaigning.
