PDM releases 2019 elections manifesto

The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) has released its 2019 elections manifesto with a promise to work towards improving Namibian lives, if elected into power, during the upcoming general elections.
Among its agenda, PDM with its United People's Movement (UPM) coalition promised to put up three desalination plants to address water scarcity and promote agricultural activities in the country, build a clinic in every constituency, reduce Cabinet to 15 ministers and four deputies, ensure free education and provide free tertiary in some of the key areas that ensure economic growth.
The party further pledged to establish a single factory in every constituency to process and add value to raw materials found in such areas thereby ensuring job creation and curb urbanisation.
PDM President McHenry Venaani released the manifesto saying it is yet to be formally launched at a later stage.
