President Geingob commissions 14 Heads of Mission

President Hage Geingob has told new heads of mission to fully represent the interest of Namibia in countries where they'll be serving.
Geingob commissioned 14 heads of mission Monday at State House.
He said that by taking the oath, the diplomats have pledged to advance Namibia's foreign policy, improve the country's global rankings and economic sectors.
He also directed them to carry themselves in an exemplary manner and not bring the country's name or relations in disrepute.
President Geingob said, "by taking the oath you have made a public commitment to promote and protect Namibia's national interests above all else."
High Commissioner Designate to Botswana, Asser Kapere, during a statement of commitment on behalf of the diplomats said, "we are committed to be loyal in the execution of our mandate in the spirit of Harambee and in the interest of Namibia."
