President Geingob confident that fishing reforms can reduce exploitation

President Hage Geingob has told the High-Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy that Namibia's reforms in the fishing sector would help close loopholes that had been exploited in the past.
Geingob, during a telephonic conversation with the chair of the Panel and Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg commended Norway for its cooperation in the criminal investigations, following revelations of corruption in the local fishing sector, now known as Fishrot.
