President Geingob reiterates Namibia's support for Western Sahara self-determination

President Hage Geingob has reiterated that Namibia will continue to advocate for the self-determination of Western Sahara, currently under Moroccan occupation.
Geingob met the outgoing ambassador of the Sahrawi-Arab Democratic Republic, Bah Sheikh Mohamed who paid him a farewell courtesy call at State House.
Following the closed-door meeting, Press Secretary Alfredo Hengari told NBC News that Geingob shared advise with the Sahrawi diplomat.
Ambassador Mohamed, who is based in Angola, in turn briefed the President on key resolutions from Polisario Front congress held last year.
He could not divulge detailed information, apart from saying the discussions included talks between Polisario Front, Morocco, AU and UN resolutions.
