Project schools address growing demand for education

Besides honouring those who participated in the Soweto Uprising of 1976, in South Africa, 16 June is also meant to raise awareness around the continuing need for improvement of education, provided to African children.
Education in Namibia is compulsory for children between the ages of 7 and 16.
However there are not enough schools and facilities to accommodate all children.
The government has thus far set up temporary classroom structures to create more space and help keep all children in school.
