Lawyer Sisa Namandje has written to the Air Namibia interim chief executive officer (CEO), Theo Mberirua to comply with and adhere to the court order which was handed down on 29 January.
The national carrier and Challenge Air reached an out of court agreement where Air Namibia agreed to pay 9,9 million Euros (over N$177 million).
In the letter, Namadje is also asking Mberirua to confirm if the liquidation is a ploy to avoid the agreement.
Namandje, who represents Challenge Air, wants Air Namibia to comply with the court order before 18 February.
The company also threatened to take execution and enforcement steps against TransNamib in the event of Air Namibia not complying to the agreement.
Air Namibia used to be a subsidiary of TransNami
