South African livestock import measures relaxed

South Africa relax some of its strict import measures on livestock

Namibian farmers are breathing a sigh of relief after South Africa decided to relax some of its earlier strict measures which hampered the export of livestock to South Africa.
On the 1st of July, South Africa's Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries introduced an array of regulations, restricting the smooth export of livestock from Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana into that country.
